How many languages
do you speak?
My grandmother used to
watch me when I was growing
up, and she made sure to speak
to me only in Vietnamese.
She always told me it was my
strongest connection to my
family and culture, and that it
would be useful to me once I
entered the workforce. Those
were really big concepts to tell
a child, but she was correct,
haha. I tried to learn French
in high school, but it didn't
go far considering my biggest
motivation was to sound cool
when I ordered pastries.
Which is your favorite
TOV product?
This is a difficult question
because I stare at our furniture
daily and envision it in so
many different ways, but the
Isabella loveseat holds a special
spot in my heart. I recently
added it to my living room,
and it's changed everything.
It's everyone's go-to spot for
putting on shoes, setting down
their purse, or curling up for a
movie or book. It's just made to
cradle you in coziness.
What's a place you've
been to that you loved?
Ponce City Market in Atlanta:
I fell in love and never
wanted to leave. It was the
most magical collection of
boutique shops and foods ever.
I tried oysters from all over
the country and discovered
beautiful handmade streetwear
brands. The city itself, along
with the market, felt like a hub
for creativity. Everything was
so moody and modern at the
same time.
